Information

Ultrasound care works with us in the center in Amsterdam-Noord on Wednesdays. Sonographer Robert de Zoete and surgical orthopedist Pieter Schillemans pool their knowledge and conduct the consultation together.

Ultrasound care in the health center

We work according to the motto: 'First see, then treat'. Ultrasound shows you what's really going on. Whether there is a muscle tear or, for example, an inflammation.

The orthopedic surgeon is present during the ultrasound examination. In this way we combine the making of the ultrasound images with the findings of the physical examination. We are the most experienced ultrasound practice in North Holland: we have now performed more than 14,000 ultrasound examinations and more than 4,000 ultrasound-guided injections and treatments.

Compensation

The examinations and treatments that we carry out are covered by the basic policy. These are therefore reimbursed. You need a referral from your GP for treatment or an examination.
